  1. HackTV Read Me

  3. HackTV is a basic video and audio capturing environment that will help 
  4. to get you started on your QuickTime adventure.  (Of course, you need 
  5. to have the capturing hardware) The HackTV application windows do not 
  6. clip the drawing.  This means if you move the Monitor window, the 
  7. grabbed image does not follow the window client.  Same goes for various 
  8. controls in the "settings" dialogs (slider controls, etc...).  This 
  9. behavior does not affect the ability to capture and will be fixed in 
  10. a subsequent release.

  12. To record a movie, select "Record" from the Monitor menu.  The grabbed 
  13. frames are recorded until you click anywhere in the main window.  Upon 
  14. success the resulting movie "Hack.mov" is written to the application 
  15. directory.
